WordPress Website Design Singapore: Websites Built to Generate Enquiries
We design and build WordPress websites for Singapore SMEs — service business sites, landing pages and WooCommerce stores — with clear service information, fast loading, SEO basics set up correctly, and simple ways for visitors to call, WhatsApp or enquire.

Common Website Problems We Fix
When we review small-business websites, three problems come up again and again:

Slow to Load
Oversized images, too many plugins and heavy page builders are the usual causes. Visitors on mobile data often leave before a slow page finishes loading. You can check your own pages with Google’s free PageSpeed Insights.

Hard to Use on a Phone
Tiny text, buttons too close together, and phone numbers that cannot be tapped. For many local service businesses, a large share of visitors arrive on a phone, so the mobile layout matters as much as the desktop one.

Visitors Leave Without Enquiring
Unclear service descriptions, no prices or price guidance, no FAQs, and a contact form buried at the bottom of one page. Visitors who cannot quickly find what they need usually go back to Google and pick someone else.
A website should make it easy to become a customer
We plan every page around one question: what does a visitor need to see before they are comfortable calling you? Usually that is a clear description of the service, who it is for, price guidance where you are happy to share it, answers to common questions, evidence you are a real business, and an obvious way to get in touch.
What Is Included
Mobile-Responsive Design
Layouts are designed for phones first, then tablets and desktops. Before launch we check key pages and enquiry paths on an agreed list of phone and desktop browsers, including tap-to-call and WhatsApp buttons.
SEO Foundation
We set up the basics that help search engines crawl and understand the site: a logical page and URL structure, unique page titles and meta descriptions, an XML sitemap, descriptive image alt text, internal links between related pages, and structured data where it accurately describes the page. We also connect Google Search Console so you can see how Google indexes the site. These foundations make ranking possible; they do not guarantee it. Google explains the fundamentals in its SEO Starter Guide.
Performance
We compress and resize images, limit unnecessary plugins, use caching and test pages with PageSpeed Insights. We aim to meet Google’s Core Web Vitals thresholds on key pages; actual scores depend on hosting, theme, third-party scripts and content, so we measure before and after launch rather than promise a number.
Conversion-Focused Layout
Each service page has a clear heading, a plain-English description, FAQs, and visible call, WhatsApp and enquiry options. Enquiry forms can be connected to your email, CRM or Google Sheets, and enquiry clicks can be tracked in Google Analytics so you can see which pages produce leads. See also our conversion rate optimisation service.
SSL and Basic Security
Every site runs on HTTPS so form submissions are encrypted in transit. We keep WordPress, themes and plugins updated at launch, use strong admin accounts, and avoid collecting personal data you do not need. HTTPS is good practice and expected by browsers; it is one of many signals Google uses, not a shortcut to rankings. Your own PDPA obligations are covered in more detail by the PDPC.
Content You Can Update Yourself
WordPress lets your team change text, images, promotions and blog posts without coding. At handover we walk you through the pages you are most likely to update. Larger layout changes may still need a developer.
What you will need to provide
Your logo and brand colours, service details and any prices you want to show, photos (or approval to use suitable stock images), answers to your customers’ common questions, domain and hosting access if you already have them, and one person who approves designs and content.
What is not included unless agreed
Copywriting for large numbers of pages, professional photography, ongoing SEO campaigns, paid advertising, and custom software features. These can be quoted separately.
Our 4-Step Website Process
1
Discovery
We agree what the site must achieve, list the pages needed, review your current site and a few competitor sites, and confirm scope, timeline and price in writing.
2
Design
We plan the page structure and design key pages first — usually the homepage and one service page — so you can approve the look and the enquiry flow before the full build.
3
Build
We build the site in WordPress, add your content, set up the SEO basics, forms, analytics and Search Console, and connect tools such as WhatsApp, booking or payment where agreed.
4
Test and Launch
Before launch we test forms, links, mobile layouts and page speed. If replacing an old site, we set up redirects from old URLs. After launch we show your team how to update content.
From $5,555
Final price depends on the number of pages, features and integrations. Scope and price are confirmed in a written quote before work starts.
FAQ
Can I manage the website myself after it’s done?
Yes. You receive full administrator access to your WordPress site, and we walk you through updating the pages you are most likely to change.
Will my website be PDPA compliant?
We build privacy-conscious forms and support technical measures such as HTTPS, consent wording and collecting only necessary data. PDPA compliance also depends on your own policies and how you handle data, so the final setup should be reviewed by your organisation or a qualified adviser.
Do you provide hosting and maintenance?
We can recommend and set up hosting, and ongoing maintenance (updates, backups and security checks) can be included in your quote. Options and pricing are confirmed in the written proposal.
How long does a WordPress website project take?
A typical business website often takes 4 to 8 weeks; a more complex e-commerce site may take 10 to 12 weeks. The biggest factors are how quickly content is ready and how many rounds of feedback are needed.
Can you revamp my existing, slow website?
Yes. We audit the existing site, keep the content and URLs that are worth keeping, and redirect old URLs to new ones so existing search visibility is not lost unnecessarily. We measure speed and search performance before and after launch.
Will a new website guarantee more leads or better rankings?
No website can guarantee that. A well-built site removes common obstacles — slow pages, confusing navigation, missing information — but results also depend on your market, competition, content and marketing.
